Welcome to BFC Missions Incorporated. Building Families and Communities (BFC) Missions Incorporated is a local, 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to "improve the quality of life for dysfunctional families" within the Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County region. Since 1998, we have provided services to citizens of Nashville, ranging from youth and family counseling to educational support for adults and children. As a committed stakeholder, we continue to seek new and innovative ways to support families and their communities within our service area. We offer a broad range of services.

Fatherhood Education Respite Program

The fatherhood education program is specifically designed to assist paternal parents who are facing court ordered child support, but have difficulty meeting court requirements. The training is research based and focuses on court compliance. Key lessons are as follows:

  • Improving Communication Skills for Fathers
  • Understanding the Rearing of Children

Adult Learning

Our adult learning component is specially geared to the needs of recent high school drop outs and adult learners of all ages. It offers individualized learning plans and instruction. The learner's life experience serves as the main preparer for the general education equivalence (GED) test.
